MOUNTING SYSTEMS SHOWDOWN: Is CADEX still the superior choice?

CADEX LPM vs ARGUS LWNVM
In an ever evolving market where reliable mounts such as the Argus LWNVM become more and more prevalent, the question about whether or not high end NV mounts are still the right choice, starts to pop up more and more frequently.
Should you settle for the LWNVM or is it best to go the extra mile with CADEX ?
Today we are going to give you the answer you were looking for.
The Argus LWNVM is the perfect blend of reliability, ruggedness and affordability when it comes to mounting solutions.

.
Coming in at 4.9oz (139g), and machined out of aerospace grade aluminum, the LWNVM is a very competitive solution, with good accessibility, giving the wearer height, eye relief and tilt adjustment, leaving no room for error, while at the same time, maintaining itself one of the lightest dovetail mounts ever created and maintaining great build quality, having almost no play or wobble, ultimately giving the user a comfortable and seamless experience when wearing it.
The CADEX
.
The CADEX Low Profile Mount, is possibly the most high-end mounting solution on the block, offering unparalleled modularity and top notch build quality.
The LPM is crafted out of an aerospace grade aluminum alloy, with skillful machining and superior finish, offering one of if not the most well-made mount out there.
With tilt, height and eye relief adjustment, the CADEX offers every feature you would want in your NV mount, allowing you to wear your NOD perfectly
CADEX goes the extra mile when it comes to user friendly design, as it’s the lowest profile mount on the market, with its ability to stow-up in a very tightly closed position to the helmet, bringing the center of gravity of the device closer to you and thus, allowing for the most comfortable mount out there.
Coming in at a weight of 5.8oz (165g), it is slightly heavier than the Argus, but still making up for it in terms of modularity and ease of use.
Unlike the LWNVM, the CADEX LPM comes both in Black and FDE color, to go along with your very expensive GBRS group Hydra mount, that you totally needed to complete your ultimate backyard operator load-out.
THE BOTTOM LINE
From our experience at NTD, we can conclude that both devices are high quality, well made tools that will not let you down at the range, on the field and in your dad’s attic, but at the end of the day CADEX is the winner in terms of overall quality… But how do they compare in terms of COST?
With the CADEX LPM retailing at $605 CAD and the Argus LWNVM going strong at $245 CAD, we are confident to claim the CADEX to be the overall king of night vision mounts, while Argus takes the win when it comes to high quality budget friendly options.
